Mr. Cook, 69, of Roxie, MS passed from this life on Monday, September 19, 2022 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  He was born on October, 12, 1953 in Adams County to Mr. Samuel Cook and Mrs. Novle Merritt Cook.

A private burial service will be held at a later date at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bunkley, MS.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Samuel and Novle Cook; sister, Regina Cook; grandson, Jacob Nations and stepson, Walter.

Survivors are his daughters, Heather Mayeux, Crystal Nations, Novie Nations; son, Samuel Cook; sister, Carmel Nations and husband Bobby of McComb; brother, Virgil Cook of Brookhaven, MS, and stepchildren, Dannielle, Melakeshia and Madaria.
