Funeral services for Mr. William C. "W.C." Johnson, of Brookhaven and longtime resident of Roxie, MS will be on December 9, 2021, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Roxie City Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Charlie Seale will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on December 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Johnson, 95, passed from this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his residence in Brookhaven, MS. He was born on April 6, 1926 in Wilkinson County, MS to Mr. Bryan Johnson and Mrs. Eunice Davidson Johnson.

He served his country during WWII in Guam in the United States Navy Seabees as a LTJG. He was Past Master of the S.B. Stampley Lodge in Roxie MS. He worked for many years as a Timber Dealer, serving the wood industry in Franklin County. He never met a stranger and loved to spend time with his many friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Jean Johnson, sister, Norma Lynn and brother, Bryan Leston.

Survivors are his sons, Cooper Johnson and wife Marilyn of Martin, TN, and William "Willam" Johnson and wife Brenda of Coushatta, LA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Greg Farr, Jamie Cummins, Keith Whitehead, David Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Lee Johnson, Bryan Johnson, and Eddie Walker.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Combs, Lavon Combs, DeVere Davis and Master Chief Ford Mason, USN retired.
