Funeral services for Mr. William Dewitt Bilbo will be on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Siloam Baptist Church on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Bilbo, 92 of Meadville, passed from this life on September 7, 2022 at Collins State Veterans Home in Collins, Mississippi. He was born on December 12, 1929 in Meadville, MS to Mr. Jewel A. Bilbo and Mrs. Ruth Cothren Bilbo.

He retired from International Paper Company where he was a welder for many years. He served as a Deacon at Siloam Baptist Church where he and his wife Janis faithfully served.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jewel A. and Ruth Bilbo; wife, Janis Bilbo; sisters, Annie Ruth Dillard and Mildred Whittington.

Survivors are his son, Lynn Bilbo and wife Sandra of Brandon, MS; brother, M.D. Bilbo and wife, Mitti of Lucien, MS; granddaughter, Nicolle McGarrity and husband Billy of Oxford, MS; grandson, Mike Bilbo of Vicksburg, MS and great grandchildren, Emma and Callie McGarrity, along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Mike Bilbo, John Dillard, Paul Malone, Dalton Emfinger, Walton Speed, Chris Jordon, Roger Causey and Floyd Netterville.

Honorary pallbearers are Barry Dillard, Percy Peeler, Riley Temple, and Randy Dillon.
