Funeral services for Mr. Wiley Louis Wentworth III, will be on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church in Bude, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Hopewell Baptist Church on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Wentworth, 83, of Eddiceton, MS, passed from this life on July 14, at his residence. He was born on December 29, 1938 in Franklin County to Mr. Wiley Louis Wentworth II and Mrs. Lillian Costley Torrey.

He was a long time member of Hopewell Baptist Church where he attended faithfully for many years. He enjoyed fast cars, hunting, fishing, rock and roll music and spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and son, Robin Wentworth.

Survivors are sons, Stuart Wentworth and wife Dianne of Brandon, MS and Steve Wentworth and wife Mary of Brandon, MS; sister, Sara Wentworth Adams of Washington DC; brother, Lynn Wentworth and wife Patti of Madison. Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Louis Taylor Wentworth, Heath Woodcock, Wade Woodcock, Matthew Roberts, Drew Kin, Brian Emery, Trevor Wentworth.

Honorary Pallbearers are Vance Woodcock and Vince Woodcock.
