Funeral services for Thomas "Bo" Sullivan Jr. will be on November 3, 2024, at Meadville Methodist Church at 3:00 PM with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS.  Visitation will be on November 3, 2024 at Meadville Methodist Church from 2:00 until time of service at 3:00 PM. Rev. Pat Sullivan will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Sullivan, 75, of Meadville, passed from this life on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Southwest Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 6, 1948 in Brookhaven, MS to Mr. Thomas Vern Sullivan, Sr. and Mrs. Margie Babington Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan proudly served our nation in the United States Army. He studied Geology at the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a retired forester with the United Stated Forestry Service. He was a longtime member of Meadville Methodist Church and served as Meadville Fire Chief for many years.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, collecting rocks, and bird watching. He loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Vern and Margie Sullivan; brother, William "Bill" Woodrow Sullivan; grandson, Thomas Cole Freeman, and a special uncle, Leonard Sullivan.

Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Deborah; daughters, Brandee Freeman (Chuck), April Smith (Chad), Savannah Pollan (Jarett); brothers; Herbert Steve Sullivan (Sue), Rex Sullivan (Karen),  Pat Sullivan (Debbie); sisters, Cindy Roberson (Tim), Judy Oglesby (Kenneth), and sister-in-law, Teresa Sullivan; grandchildren, Blaine Freeman, Chase Freeman, Kelsey McNeil, Kamryn James, Brennan Smith, Kynlee Pollan; great grandchildren, Ky Freeman, Jennings Freeman, Kallie McNeil; and a host of nieces and nephews who cherished their Uncle Bo.

Pallbearers are Chad Smith, Jarett Pollan, Chuck Freeman, Blaine Freeman, Chase Freeman, and Trey Bolt.

Honorary pallbearers are Brennan Smith, Kenneth Oglesby, Rex Sullivan, Steve Sullivan, and Rick Carter.

The family request memorials be made in his name to:  Brookhaven Animal Rescue League or a charity of your choice.
