Funeral services for Mr. Thomas H. "Bull" Godwin, Jr. will be on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Smithdale, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Marvin Howard will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on, December 23, 2017, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.

Mr. Godwin, 55, passed from this life on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 10, 1962, in Bay St. Louis, MS to Mr. Thomas H. Godwin, Sr. and Mrs. Becky Perkins Godwin.

He worked as a self-employed Barge Superintendent. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Smithdale. He was an avid hunter and had a passion for rodeo events including bull riding and steer wrestling. He was a loving companion, brother, father and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Thomas H. Godwin, Sr. and Mrs. Becky Perkins Godwin; brother, Brock Godwin, and grandson, Braxtyn Corey Coffey.

Survivors are his fiancée Monica L. Ezell; daughters, Rebecca Harris and husband Wesley and Katelyn Godwin and fiancée Brandyn Coffey; son, Justin Godwin, and granddaughter, Kenley Harris; sister Terri Godwin Skinner and husband Eric, a very special Godmother, Sharon Chiniche, and a host of family and friends.
