Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Whitehead will be on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia, LA, at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hamburg, MS. Rev. Glen Harrigill will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Riverside Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM.

Mrs. Whitehead, 64, of Vidalia, LA passed from this life on January 20, 2019, at Merit Health Hospital in Natchez, MS. She was born on September 14, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Mr. Billy Thomas and Mrs. Mary Thornton Graves.

She was a longstanding member of Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia, La. She loved her church and was faithful to its ministries.  Her greatest joy was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her father, Billy Thomas; stepfather, Clyde Graves; sister, Kat Case and great grandson, Hunter Hewitt.

Survivors are her husband of 35 years, Johnny Whitehead; one daughter, Barbara McNeese and husband, Bob; three sons, Paul Wilkinson Jr., Johnny Whitehead Jr. and wife, Sarah, Jesse Whitehead and wife, Kristi; mother, Mary Graves; three sisters, Rita Taylor and husband, Marvin, Dottie Beavers and husband, Dale, Sharon Butler and husband, Michael; three brothers, Billy Thomas, Larry Graves and wife, Charnell, Gerald Graves and wife, Martha; brother in law, Freddie Case; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
