Funeral services for Mrs. Teresa Lofton, of Meadville, MS will be on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek, MS, MS. Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Lofton 58 passed from this life on Monday, May 14, 2018, at her residence in Meadville. She was born on July 23, 1959 to Mr. Reese Gregory and Mrs. Gloria Wallace.

Teresa was a retired U.S Postal worker for 16 years.  She was known on her mail route for her smile and friendly hand wave to everyone she saw. She loved her leisure time playing computer games and sitting on her back porch, swinging and watching over her dogs. Teresa cherished spend time with her seven grandchildren whom she loved deeply.

Preceding her in death were her father, Reese Gregory; infant son, Daniel Reese Lofton; son Matthew Gregory Lofton and brother, Jeffery Lane Walters.

Survivors are her husband of 39 years, Dan Lofton; mother, Gloria Walters; daughters, Morgan Jackson and husband Brad of Cosby, TN, Malorie Lofton of Meadville and seven grandchildren.
