Graveside service for Mrs. Shirley McMillan Whitehead will be on Friday, May 1, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Roxie Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Jamie Wallace, Rev. Van Windom, and Rev. Tyson Windom will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Whitehead, 84, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at Merit Health in Natchez, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1935 in Roxie, MS, to Lawrence  Monroe and Laura Elizabeth McMillan.

She enjoyed spending time in her garden and working with her flowers. She loved cooking; especially baking.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Lawrence and Laura McMillan; husband, John Allan Whitehead; and daughter, Tiffany White.

Survivors are daughter, Janine D'Avy and husband, Terry; son, Keith Whitehead and wife, Stacy; son-in-law, Eric White; grandchildren, Molly, Katie, Justin, and Brayden; and a host of family and friends.
