Funeral services for Sally Causey Thompson will be on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Pat Sullivan will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Sally Causey Thompson, 64, of Smithdale, MS passed from this life on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1960 in Louisiana to Mr. Jerry Lonzo Causey and Mrs. Dorothy Courtney Causey.

She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, watching the hummingbirds, drinking coffee on the porch, and listening to country music.  She loved Christmas. Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Ashley Nicole Touchstone; sisters, Kathy Causey, Claudia Jackson; and great-granddaughter, Rainey Parker Arnold.

Survivors are her husband of 23 years, A.C. Thompson; sons, Ronnie Arnold, Justin Thompson (Leslie), Todd Thompson; daughter, Rhonda Wilkinson; sister Jerry Vaughn (Dewayne); grandchildren, Mayce Arnold, Addison Wilkinson, Ainsley Wilkinson, Libby Thompson, Aubrey Thompson, Fisher Thompson, Jace Touchstone; great-granddaughter, Ronnie Grace; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Arnold, Robert Pickle, Jace Touchstone, Triston Raborn, Jamie Seale, and Jeremy Seale.

Honorary Pallbearers are Todd Thompson, Justin Thompson, Brandon Raborn, and Dewayne Vaughn.
