Ruth Clara Smith Pritchard, 93, died November 20, 2012, at
Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS. Visitation is 10:00 A M until
services at 1:00 P M Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Union Church Baptist
Church in Union Church, MS. with burial in the Union Church Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Pritchard was born June 30, 1919 to Willis U. and Clara
O. Martin Smith. She was a retired cafeteria manager for Houston I.S.D. and a
homemaker.  She was a wonderful cook and
seamstress. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Union Church Baptist
Church.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Raymond and
Claire Pritchard of Houston, TX; daughter and son-in-law: Carol and Ray Shotwell
of Humble, Texas; grandson and wife: Mike and Beth Pritchard of Conroe, TX;
granddaughter: Rayeleen Holston of Cleveland, TX; sister and husband: Jewell
and J. C. Davis of Lake View, Arkansas; 5 great granddaughters and 2 great
grandsons; 2 great-great granddaughters and 1 great-great grandson; a number of
nieces and nephews; devoted care giver: Nell Ashley; and loving friend: Bertha
Varnado.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: H. O.
Pritchard and 9 brothers and sisters.
