Services for Mrs. Ruth W Mullins, 90, of McCall Creek, Ms., were held Monday, January 18, at 1:30 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Franklin Funeral Home in charge. Rev. Marvin Howard officiated.

Mrs. Mullins died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 4, 1925, to the late Boyd A Williams and Janie Chambers Williams. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy Mullins, her grandson, Bronson Kent, two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Mullins was an avid quilter, a member of the Mississippi Quilters Association and was featured in Patchwork Quilt Tsushin, an international quilt magazine.

Survivors are one son Mike Mullins and wife Annette of Southhaven, Ms.; two daughters, Jane Kent of McCall Creek, Ms. and Jo Haynes and husband Gary of San Diego, Ca.; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
