Obituary

Ronnie Leroy Mulkey, 64, was called into the presence of the Lord on Monday, May 24, 2016, at his residence in Meadville, MS. Mr. Mulkey was born at Natchez, MS, on January 14, 1952, to Leroy and Audrey Wilson Mulkey.
Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Franklin Funeral Home. Bro. Pat Sullivan will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ronnie was retired from the United States Forest Service having worked as an archaeologist technician for many years at the Homochitto Ranger District. Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Meadville, where he was known as a quite, gentle and caring man. He loved the visits by his many friends that stopped by to pass the time with old stories and the many experiences shared together. Ronnie loved his family and friends very much.
Preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Audrey Wilson Mulkey.
Survivors are his sister, Peggy Mulkey Richardson and husband Clyde of Gautier, MS; nephew, Chad Mulkey and wife April of Meadville, MS; great niece, Summer Mulkey; great nephew, Lennon Mulkey; special friends, the Sullivan's, the Smith's and the Cobb's; and a host of friends, and special coworkers from the US Forestry Service.
