Memorial Services for Robin Wentworth will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 am in the sanctuary of the University Baptist Church (3200 Arlington Loop, Hattiesburg, MS 39402) where Robin has been a member for many years. Following, will be an afternoon memorial service at Hopewell Baptist Church, Bude, MS beginning at 3:00 pm with burial (family only) at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, in Eddiceton, MS.

Born July 31, 1961 in Meadville, MS, to Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Louis Wentworth, III, Robin was raised in Eddiceton, MS where he and his brothers and cousins enjoyed childhood on the banks of the Homochitto River and graduated from Franklin County High School.  Robin went on to earn his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi and enjoyed a successful career as an organizational / industrial psychologist.  Robin served his clients worldwide, traveling often to Asia, Europe and throughout the United States.  Robin made his home in Hattiesburg, MS, raising his two daughters, Brittany and Alex, serving his community, helping neighbors and enjoying the love and companionship of family and friends.  Robin enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, music, art and supporting his beloved Golden Eagles of the University of Southern Mississippi. He lovingly shared himself and his larger-than-life personality with friends and family. In short, to know him was to love him.  Robin's last months were spent managing and enduring a terminal illness known as ALS.  During this time he was surrounded by a multitude of friends and family, all celebrating his life and reflecting their love, adoration and admiration for their Robin – the best son, brother, cousin, nephew, father, uncle and friend anyone could wish for.  With dignity and grace, Robin lived his life to the very fullest and with dignity and grace Robin left this world peacefully on June 13, 2018.

He is survived by: his mother, Hellon Lee Monroe of Brandon, MS; his father, Wiley Louis Wentworth, III, of Eddiceton, MS; his daughters, Brittany Lee Wentworth and Jean Alexandra Wentworth, both of Seattle, WA; his brothers, Steve Wentworth (Mary) and Stuart Wentworth (Dianne), all of Brandon, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in all corners of the globe.  He will be deeply missed.
