Funeral services for Robert "Red" Wilson will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Bude First Baptist Church in Bude MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Franklin Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday, December 18 at Bude First Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Bro. Tyson Windom will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Wilson, 75, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS. He was born on October 20, 1949 in Bude, MS to Mr. Cleatus Wilson and Mrs. Bernie Ezell Wilson.

He enjoyed music and enjoyed singing the old hymns and specials in church. He loved being outdoors and gardening.  He enjoyed all aspects of God's creation, especially his four-legged friend, Buck.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Cleatus and Bernice Wilson; sister, Claudell Wilson Arnold; brothers, John Howard Wilson, Kenneth Wayne Wilson, Harvey "Speedy" Wilson, and Mickey Lee Wilson.

Survivors are his brother, Rayford Wilson; many nieces and nephews; cousins and a lifetime of friends and church members.

Pallbearers are Ken Posey, David "Clutch" Aldridge, Kyle Temple, Grant Sullivan, Randy Priest, and Richard Thornhill.
