Randall "Randy" Lee Knight didn't just listen to music he lived it with every breath. On April 5, 2026 at 72 years old the melody of his life came to it's finale when he passed away unexpectedly surrounded by those he loved. Leaving behind a rhapsodic symphony of memories and love.

Randy Knight struck the first chord in the song of his life on November 30, 1953 to proud vivacious parents Robert Knight and Doreen Burnside-Knight. Born to a church going, musical family with four brothers. Spending his youth savoring music while surfing at the beach.

After graduation he served in the Air Force during Vietnam Era and attended college. Once his duty was complete he began working on the stage crew with the likes of George Carlin and Cheech and Chong. Was a favored bartender at Shire Pub in Sacramento, California and dancing and singing with visiting bands. After starting his family he worked for Norco foundry until retirement.

The chorus of his life hit it's crescendo July 14, 2001 when he married his childhood love Wanda Huff to whom he loved and cherished the rest of his days.

Randy Knight is survived by his loving wife Wanda Knight. Children Dwayne Dozier, Randy (Lonna) Dozier, Chris (Kyla) Dozier, Megan (James) Knight-Kerns, Melissa (Chase) Deuschle (Knight), Shari (Billy) Wright. Brothers Robert Morris, Rick Knight and Scott Knight. Grandchildren Hailey Buchanan, Everly Dozier, Addison Dozier, Hazel Dozier , Tanner Dozier and Layla Wright. Preceded in death by parents Robert Knight and Doreen Burnside-Knight.

Services will be held with family and friends on a future date to be announced by family.
