Funeral services for Ralph McFarland will be on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Eddiceton, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Eddiceton, MS from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Leroy McFarland and Rev. Jessie Givens will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Ralph McFarland, 92, of Meadville, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 7, 1932 in Franklin County, MS, to George Allen McFarland and Elizabeth Ezell McFarland.

Mr. Ralph enjoyed working in his garden. He enjoyed shopping and eating out.  He loved to travel.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Mark McFarland; sisters, Earline Alderman, Myrtle Reeves, Lucille Ludlow; and brothers, Winfield McFarland, Harold McFarland, George McFarland, and Sonny Laird.

Survivors are his wife of 73 years, Dorothy McFarland; daughter, Cindy Foster (Mickey); son, Andy McFarland (Angie); 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Guy McFarland, Logan McFarland, Mickey Foster, Edward Lee, James Cotton, and Landon McFarland.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Todd and Darius Foster.
