Funeral services for Pollye Annette Halford Platt will be on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Sarepta Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and will continue on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sarepta Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Rev. Steve Sasser will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Pollye Annette Halford Platt, 61, passed from this life on August 27, 2024. She was born on October 22, 1962 in Meadville, MS to Mr. Wesley Halford and Mrs. Helen Louise Rollins Halford.

She enjoyed working at the school. She loved spending time with friends and family.  She enjoyed going to church.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, James "Snake" Halford.

Survivors are her husband of 29 years, Ernest Platt; daughter, Kaylee Platt; sisters Louise Combs (Jerry), Maxine Buie (Jimmy), Doris Foy (John), Bonnie McGeever; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Joshua Avara, Casey Foy, Randy Buie, Robert Buie, Connor Foy, Darby Combs, John Foy, Jr., and Francis Guerrero.
