Funeral services for Perry A. Everett will be on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at FBC of Bude in Bude, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Bro. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue at FBC Bude on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. Everett, 67, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at his home in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born on November 27, 1949, in Alexandria, LA, to Charles Alvie and Hilda Grace Mullins Everett. He was of the Methodist faith; served his country in the US Navy; worked for many years as an engineer at International Paper and Ford Bacon and Davis Engineering Firm; and enjoyed his dogs, sailing, the beach, cycling, the ASPCA, a proud LSU alumni and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles Alvie and Hilda Grace Mullins Everett.

Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Teresa Herring Everett; sons, Neil Everett and wife Sarah of Austin, TX, and Nathan Everett and wife Callia of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Allison Everett Griffin and husband Patrick of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Robbie Everett and Will Everett; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Neil Everett, Nathan Everett, Bob Herring, Lewis Herring, Keith Pate and Patrick Griffin. Honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Torrey.
