Penny was born on August 12, 1960, in Alexandria, LA. She was the daughter of Nick and Sue Pardue. She graduated from Adams County Christian School in 1978; then went on to earned an associate degree in respiratory care. On November 17, 1989 she married the love of her life Randy Paul Delaney. Penny lived a life marked by compassion, determination, and a deep love for her family and her faith.
She devoted more than 25 years of her life to the respiratory field, caring for others with kindness and compassion.
When she became a mother, Penny chose to be a stay-at-home mom, pouring her heart into raising her children and creating a loving home. Never one to be idle, she founded Professional Sitting Service, Inc., which she successfully owned and operated for 17 years. After her children were grown, she again followed her entrepreneurial spirit and began Delaney Boarding Services. Penny was always busy, always working hard, and always caring for others.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures—loving her family, working with her flowers, trail riding on her horse, and riding the motorcycle with her husband, Randy Paul. Of all her blessings, nothing brought Penny more happiness than her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy, her pride, and the light of her life.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Sue Pardue.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Randy Paul; one son, Paul Delaney (Desiree); one daughter, Nicole Beach (Casey); and five beautiful grandchildren, Salem, Maven, and Bowen Delaney, and Randi Lynn and Wyatt Beach all of Roxie, MS, one sister Carla Thompson (Don) of Alexandria, LA and one brother Craig Pardue (Janice) of Natchez, MS.
Pallbearers will be Louis Thompson, Scout Earls, Drew Hall, Carlton Hall, Will Delaney, and Jay Gamberi.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Thompson and Clayton Delaney.
Above all else, Penny loved her Lord and Savior. Her faith guided her life and sustained her through every season. Today, she is free from pain and has entered her eternal home, where she now walks the streets of gold with her Lord and Savior.
Matthew 25:23 "Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord."
