Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Baggett will be on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM. Rev. Calvin Wactor will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Baggett, 80, of Winder, GA, passed from this life on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her residence in Winder, GA.  She was born on May 29, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa to Mr. O.W. Murphy and Mrs. Genevieve Shreve Murphy.

She enjoyed reading books, being with her family and watching her Sunday programs. She was a loving Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her husband, William Baggett and her parents; Mr. O.W. Murphy and Mrs. Genevieve Shreve Murphy.

Survivors are: Son; Steve Sanders, Daughter; Melisa Sanders; Brother; Dave Murphy; Grandchildren, Amanda McCoy, Chelsei Sanders, Britain Steward; Great Grandchildren, Lily McCoy and Lucas Davis.

Pallbearers are: Dave Murphy, Steve Sanders, Slater Murphy along with other family and friends.
