Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline King of Bude, MS will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Bude First Baptist Church in Bude, MS at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Rodney Jones and Rev. Rex Wilburn will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mrs. King, passed from this life on July 10, 2018, at her Meadville Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 22, 1930 in Adams County, MS, to Mr. Paul E. Jones and Mrs. Clara Shell Jones.
She was a longtime member of Bude First Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and sang in the church choir. She was also a longtime member of the Homemakers Club. She loved to cook for her family and was known for her famous homemade yeast rolls that everyone loved. She never met a stranger, always loved to fellowship with friends and make new acquaintances.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband; Charles Lindbergh King; 2 sisters, Molly E. Myers, LaJuana Smith and 1 brother, John Paul Jones.
Survivors are 1 daughter, Karen King and partner Michael Stiklestad of Bude, MS; 1 son, Bill King and wife Pamela Gayle of St. Joseph, LA; 3 grandchildren, Will King and wife Katherine of Olla, LA, Lindy Cline and husband David of Granite Falls, NC, William David Johnson of Diamond Head, SC; 3 great grandchildren, Abagail King, Gracie Sigmon, and Catherine Sigmon, and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Preston Lemoine, Tony Mullins, Caleb Lehman, Vance Woodcock, Ronnie Smith, and Will King.
Honorary Pallbearers are, Rev. Sullivan, Poochie Kent, Charlie Myers, Johnny Wayne Dillon, and Bomar McGehee.Bude First Baptist Church
