Pauline M. Jackson's Obituary
Pauline M. Jackson, 81, was called into the presence of the Lord on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Golden Living Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS. Mrs. Jackson was born in Franklin County, MS, on June 10, 1935, to Stevie and Jocie Smith Magee.
Visitation will be at McCall Creek Church of God in McCall Creek, MS, on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM. The graveside service will follow in the McCall Creek Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Travis Touchstone and Rev. Alan Jenkins will be officiating the services. Pat Doughty and Kery Emfinger will be providing special music. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of McCall Creek Church of God in McCall Creek, MS. She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband at 84 Drive In for several years. She loved to sing gospel music, cooking for her family, camping and crocheting. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stevie and Jocie Smith Magee; husband, Edgar Jackson; and brother, James Othel Magee.
Survivors are her son, Mark Jackson and wife Theresa of Liberty, MS; brothers, David Magee and wife Barbara of McCall Creek, MS, S E Magee and wife Helen of McCall Creek, MS, and Bart Magee and wife Gail of McCall Creek, MS; sisters, Vonceil Magee Smith of McCall Creek, MS, and Elaine Magee Arnold and husband Sidney of McCall Creek, MS; grandchildren, Samuel Gage Jackson and Elizabeth Marie Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers are Matt Magee, Charlie Magee, Randy Magee, David Alan Magee, Johnny Noble, and James Magee. Honorary pallbearer is Kurt Magee.
A very special thank you to the staffs of Golden Living Brook Manor and Hospice Ministries for the many hours of dedicated and faithful service.
