Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Pamela Smith Emfinger will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Sarepta Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 2:30 PM, with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Steve Sasser will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Tuesday March 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM and continue at Sarepta Baptist Church from 12:30 PM until time of service at 2:30 PM.

Pamela Smith Emfinger, 76, of Meadville, passed from this life on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1947 in Coles, MS to Mr. Vernon H. Smith and Mrs. Mildred Good Smith.

She enjoyed working with word search puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family.  She loved her dogs, her special companions and trusted pets. She spent many hours working and caring for her flower beds. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Mildred Smith

Survivors include her husband, Malcolm Emfinger of Meadville; sons, Jeffrey Emfinger (Stacy), Simon Emfinger (Kery) and Luke Emfinger (Evelyn); brothers, Danny V. Smith (Faye), Gregory Smith (Rita), Reggie Smith (Tootie) and David H. Smith (Sheri);  sister, Anya Gail Smith Conger (Carl); grandchildren, Logan Emfinger (Abbey), Cameron Emfinger, Addy Emfinger and Kynlee Emfinger and great-granddaughter, Ellie Emfinger.

Pallbearers are Marshall Bankston, Logan Emfinger, Cameron Emfinger, Mark Reid, Adam Smith and Cory Smith.

Honorary pallbearer is the late Lynn Wactor.
