Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Kay Freeman will be on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Greendale Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Greendale Cemetery in Roxie, MS. Rev. Jon Altman and Bro. Randy Youngblood will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Greendale Methodist Church on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Nancy Kay Freeman, 74, of Roxie, passed from this life on Friday, October 7, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1948 in Bryan, Ohio to Mr. Adrian Ray Kinnison and Mrs. Jean Kizer Kinnison.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard Freeman; children, Todd Kurtz, Greg Kurtz, Eric Kurtz, Shawn Kurtz (Jamey), Angel Cooper (Jason), Nancy Parker (Pat Lee), and Stephanie Rabalais (Steve); her loving siblings, many grandkids and great grandkids, and her nieces and nephews. She had one grandson, Carson Kurtz that proceeded her in death.

Nancy was a kind, genuine, and funny soul, who made an impact on everyone she met. Nancy lived her life surrounded by family, friends, love, and laughter. Nancy's spirit will live on eternally in the hearts and minds of those who know and love her. As Nancy's favorite song says, "It's a wonderful world", but I think those who know Nancy can all agree it'll be a little less wonderful without her around.
