Funeral services for Nadine Maxwell will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Franklin Funeral from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM. Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Nadine Maxwell, 88, passed from this life on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1937 in Natchez, MS.

Preceding her in death were her parents, L.N. and Rena Temple Hedrick; husband, L.P. Long; and sons, James Terrell “Terry” Long, Ledferd Keith Long.

Survivors are her husband, Curtis Maxwell; son, Ricky Long; daughter, Debra “Debbie” Lynette Priest; step-daughter, Laurie White; step-sons, James Ray Maxwell, Richard Maxwell; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Trent Priest, Travis Priest, Rivers Priest, Brantley Holland, Craig Foreman, and Shane Boswell.
