Myrtle Dillon Hardison, 97, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church and continue on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS. The graveside service will follow at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Tom Griffin and Bro. Marvin Howard will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Blake Gautro, Mark Gautro, Logan Cruz, Aaron Cruz, Austin Cruz, and Michael Gilbert. Honorary pallbearer is Taz Clark and Johnny Wayne Dillon.

Mrs. Hardison was born February 9, 1917 in Meadville, MS to John P. and Luella Steele Dillon. She was a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS. She was a retired CNA from Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. and Luella Steele Dillon; husband, Zack Hardison; sisters, Maude Hammack, Ruby Whitehead, Retha Dillon and Gertrude Dillon; brothers, Johnny Dillon and Carlos Dillon.

Survivors are her daughter, Maxine L. Rushing LeDoux and husband Bob of Central, LA; grandchildren, Taz Clark, Guan Donaldson and Marva Gautro and husband Mark; great grandchildren, Natasha Waits, April Kimble, Blake Gautro, Blair Gautro, Lena Clark, Logan Cruz, Aaron Cruz, and Austin Cruz; great, great grandchildren, Haylie Waits and Bria Waits; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
