Obituary

Mrs. Myrtle Lee Butler, 84, of Eddiceton, MS, was called home from this life on December 23, 2015, at her residence in Eddiceton, Ms. Mrs. Butler was born January 23, 1931 in Amite County, Ms. to Mr. Smiley Waller and Mrs. Artie Mae Whittington Waller.
Visitation will be at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Eddiceton, MS on Saturday December 26, 2015 from 11:00 AM till time of service at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Al Young, Rev. Buddy Blalock and Rev. Trent Moak will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Butler was a lifelong homemaker, sacrificing daughter, faithful, loving wife, hard working mother and a caring church worker, most of all she loved her Lord.
Mrs. Butler is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jacob D. Butler; daughters, Sherry Butler and Annette Dillon and sister, Dorothy Miller.
Survivors are daughter, Connie Arnold and husband Roger of Eddiceton, MS; son, Delton Butler and wife Nancy of Eddiceton, MS; sister, Lottie McCabe and husband John L. of Liberty, MS; five grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers are Shane Arnold, Cody Butler, Brandon Butler, Mike Storey, Neil Murray, and Matt Dillon.
The family wishes to extend a very special "Thank You" to Lexie Miller and Eula Amos for their care to our mother,their comfort to our family, and the staff of Hospice Compasses.
The family request donations be sent to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
