Funeral services for Mrs. Myra Ann Smith Walters will be on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek, MS. Rev. Pastor Henry McElroy will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM time of service at 1:00 PM.

Myra Ann Smith Walters was born on September 5, 1945 to Homer and Lucille Temple Smith.  Myra passed from this world on November 13, 2022 at 10:25 AM at her residence in Bude, MS.

Myra is preceded in death by both of her parents; sister, Retha Smith; son, Donald Orin Fredenburg, Jr.; stepson, Christopher Erskin Walters.

Myra is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, John David Walters, Jr.; daughters, Necole (Travis) of Jayess, Ruth Marie Smith of Eddiceton; step daughter, Heather (Dewayne) of Roxie; sister, Mary Helen Smith of Smithdale; grandchildren, Ariel Walters, Trint Thames, Mindy Smith, Kevin Smith, Joseph Fredenburg, Christine Walters, John Walters, Matthew Godwin, Sean Godwin, Lily Godwin; numerous great grandchildren; and a loving life friend, Harriet Dee Langford.

Pallbearers are Travis Thames, Trint Thames, Joseph Fredenburg, Archie Grantham, Jr., Woody Walters, and Travis Walters.

Honorary pallbearer is Nick Hajdu
