Services for Mr. Mozell Ezell, retired Brown & Root Superintendent, 89, of Roxie will be Monday, October 10, 2016 at 12 pm at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Moak officiating. Burial will be in the Osyka Cemetery, Osyka, MS.

Mozell was born September 12, 1927 on Hominy Ridge in Franklin County, MS. He was the son of the late Neal Ezell & Etie V Foy Ezell. He died Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Bellville, TX.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Merle Wall Ezell; one sister Ruby Nell Rollins; 3 brothers Cecil Ezell, Aaron (AJ) Ezell, and Neal Ezell Jr, and one granddaughter Shelley Marie Atkinson.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Ezell (Marilyn) of Brenham, TX; three daughters Marie Herridge (Robert) of Bellville TX, Trish Wright (Troy) of Cat Spring, TX and Lanette Ezell, and special friend, Kaye Mitchell of Roanoke, VA; sister, Eva Mae Purser of Meadville, MS; two brothers, Amos Ezell (Helen) of Leesville, LA and Claudus Ezell (Bennie Mae) of Walker, LA; two sisters-in-law, Anne Ezell of Walker, LA and Edna Ezell of Winthrop, LA,

Grandchildren are Nicole Lindsay, Michelle Kistler, (Kurt) Melissa Lockwood, Lori Borkowski (Tom), Keith Atkinson and Thomas Wright.

Great-grandchildren are Payton Lindsay, Hayden Kistler, Drew Montgomery, Ryan Montgomery, Siera Atkinson and Jacquelyn Atkinson.

Pallbearers were Thomas Wright, Keith Atkinson, Ryan Montgomery, Tom Borkowski, Bobby Chaney and John Foy.
