Mildred Inez Manning's Obituary
Mildred Inez Barlow Manning, 87, passed from this life on November 20, 2014 at her home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Meadville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Midway Cemetery. Bro. Tim Sisk will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are: William F. Manning, Jr, Francis Van Manning, Bill Cochran, Casey Hammack, Larry Jones, and Harold Dillon. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Coley Ratcliff and Ernest "Peewee" Arnold.
Mrs. Manning was born October 9, 1927 in Bude, MS to Raiford and Ruth Brieger Barlow. She was a member of the Meadville United Methodist Church. She was a retired beautician. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her yard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raiford and Ruth Brieger Barlow.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, William F. Manning; daughter, Ruth Manning Cochran and husband Bill of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Ashley Hancock Hammack and husband Casey of Meadville, MS; great-granddaughter, Harleigh Hammack; stepsons, William F. Manning, Jr., and Francis Van Manning; aunt, Jeannie Porter Cotton; and a host of friends.
