Michel Paul (Mickey) Stevens, 31, of Meadville, MS was called home from this life on December 29, 2015 at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Mr. Stevens was born January 1, 1984 to Mr. Michel Patrick Stevens and Mrs. Debra S. Dendy.

Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 9:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM at Franklin Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow in Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. David Kelley will officiate at the service. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mickey was an exceptional athlete who excelled at soccer, football and baseball while attending Franklin High School and graduating from Trinity High School in 2002.

Mickey is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Debra S. Dendy; maternal grandparents, Paul and Louise Storey of Meadville, MS; paternal grandfather, Michel Patrick Stevens Sr. of New Orleans, LA; uncles, John T. Stevens and Richard B. Sharp Jr.

Survivors are father, Michel Patrick (Mickey) Stevens Jr.; son, Michel Aaron Stevens; sisters, Maranatha Stevens of Beijing China, Hosanna Patience of Chico, CA; brothers, Noah Stevens of San Francisco, CA, Patrick Stevens of Hattiesburg, MS, and Johnnie Stevens of Ridgecrest, LA and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Joshua Dupree, Brad Jackson, Jim Priest, Nicholas Halford, Cody Jeffus, and Eric Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are classmates of Trinity Episcopal Day School class of 2002.
