Funeral service for Mrs. Maxine Foy will be will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 1:00. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. Eric Moak will officiate with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Maxine Foy, 88 of Fayette, MS passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Jefferson County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 27, 1935 in Jefferson County, Mississippi.
She loved quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Foy, Sr; father, Charlie Wesley McCaa, Sr; mother, Mittie Mary Ezell McCaa; son, James E. Foy, Jr.; brothers, Charlie W. McCaa, Jr., James (Sonny) McCaa; sisters, Christine LeBlanc, and Dorothy Upton.
Survivors include her brothers, Rayford McCaa of Fayette, MS, Doyle McCaa (Lula Mae) of Summit, MS, Jim McCaa (Georgia) of Clinton, LA; sisters, Betty McCaa (Clyde) of Baytown, TX, Mildred Rankin (Patrick) of Madison, AL, Billie Freeman of Golden Meadows, LA; and niece, Theresa Cothren (Rex) of Meadville, MS.
Pallbearers will be Andy McCaa, Curtis McCaa, Rex Cothren, Chad McCaa, Bobby Ellendar, and Butch LeBlanc.
