Mrs. Mary E. Westbrook, 60, of Roxie Ms. was called home from this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Meadville Convalescent Home. A "Remembrance Celebration" service will be at Greendale United Methodist Church at Oldenburg, MS on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM. Rev. Randy Youngblood and Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services.
Mrs. Westbrook was born January 8, 1954 in Natchez, MS to Willie Harrigill and Ruth Campbell Harrigill. She was a member of the Greendale United Methodist Church of Oldenburg. She was a lifetime housewife, devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Mrs. Westbrook loved gardening, art, raising farm animals, singing, and cooking. She served for many years as the pianist of Greendale United Methodist Church. She loved her family and will be deeply missed.
Mrs. Westbrook was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Willie Harrigill and baby brother, William James Harrigill Jr.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Ruth Campbell Harrigill; husband, William James Westbrook of Oldenburg; sons, William Todd Westbrook and wife Brittany of Roxie, MS and James Nicholas Westbrook of Lake Park, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Huff, Isaac Westbrook, Tyler Westbrook, Jaxon Westbrook, Layla Westbrook and Jamison Westbrook; sisters, Becky Netherland and husband Robert Butler and Pat Langston and husband Nat Langston, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers Mrs. Westbrook request donations be forwarded to Mrs. Gail Norman at Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, MS.
