Mary Anne Russell's Obituary
Mary Anne Lazarus Russell, 78, died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Meadville Convalescent Home. A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Green Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Jean Holland will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers are Mike Lazarus, Steve Lazarus, Ross Gaudet, and Kippy Blaney.
Mrs. Russell was born September 27, 1935, in Bude, MS, to Horace William and Mary Templeton Lazarus. She was of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years as a daycare worker at ACCS in Natchez, MS. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Vernon H. Russell; sisters: Winnie Lee Lazarus McPhate, and Irene Lazarus Huff; and brother: Ernest Glenn Lazarus.
Survivors are her daughter: Kimberly White of McComb, MS; grandchildren: Jarrod P. White; brother: Charles Lenox Lazarus and wife Anne of Natchez, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved her bright smile and sense of humor.
