Martha Saxon Stott, 69, of Ridgeland MS and formally of Meadville, MS, passed from this life peacefully on November 27, 2017 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM and continue Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 AM till time of service at Sebrell Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the graveside service.
Martha was born on December 24th, 1947 to Thomas Mack Saxon and Marjorie Evans Saxon of Meadville. She was the owner of a very successful alteration business and was seamstress to some of the most prominent residents of Jackson and the surrounding areas of the metropolitan city. Before her battle began with a debilitating auto immune disease, she worked out and led an extremely active lifestyle.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Dave Stott of Ridgeland; two daughters, Mitzi (Alan) Wilkinson of Madison and Amie (Chuck) Douglas of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Shelby Wallace Terrell of Madison and Delaney Wallace of Oxford.
