Funeral services for Mr. Loyd Freeman will be on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. James Hunsucker will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Freeman, 91, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 4, 1929 in Franklin County, MS to Kinner Freeman and Minnie Carlock Freeman.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Nettie Freeman Britt; and brothers, Floyd Freeman, Kinner Freeman, Jr.; and brother-in-law, A.D. Applewhite, Jr.

Survivors are his sisters, Etta Freeman Applewhite, Nellie Freeman; nephew, Tony Applewhite (Mandy); great-nephew, Jared Kinner Applewhite; and a host of family and friends.
