Funeral services for Louise Halford Combs will be on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Roxie Baptist Church in Roxie, MS at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Roxie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Dr. Darby Combs will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Louise Halford Combs, 80, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at King's Daughters Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 27, 1945 in Franklin County, MS to Mr. Wesley Halford and Mrs. Helen Louise Rollins Halford.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Gerald Combs, Jr.; brother James Wesley Halford; and sister, Pollye Platt.

Survivors are her husband of 60 years, Gerald Combs; son, Darby Combs (Becky); daughter, Debi Combs Walker (Dean); sisters Maxine Buie (James), Doris Foy (John), Bonnie McGeever; grandchildren, Joey (Camilla), Ashley, Blake (Rachel); great-grandchildren, Allie, Dmitri, brother-in-laws, Lavon Combs (Peggy), Ernie Platt; sister-in-law, Peggy McCullough (Pat); and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Chris Combs, Garrick Combs, Joey Combs, Casey Foy, Keith Whitehead, and Will Hutchins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Combs, Lavon Combs, and Wayne Combs.
