Memorial services for Mrs. Linda Hall will be on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Smithdale, MS at 2:00 PM.  Rev. Marvin Howard will be officiating the services.

Mrs. Hall, 76, of Smithdale, MS, passed from this life on December 9, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born on December 7, 1946 in Louisville, KY to Mr. Henry Raymond Purdue and Mrs. Anna Kathrine Redding Purdue.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, and making crafts. But her greatest joy came from spending time with her girls.

Preceding her in death were parents, Henry and Anna Purdue; husband Willard Lee Hall; sisters Anita Clemerson and Nancy Johnson; son, David Farron Hall and grandson Charles David Gentry Jr.

Survivors are daughters, Wendy Staton and husband Byron, Molly Bass and husband Bodi, and Shelley Sullivan and husband Danny; grandchildren, Annie Gentry, Robyn Staton, Jamie Brewington, Jaxston Brewington, Kara Belcher, Amy Wise, Tommy Bass and wife Alicia, Nikki Bedford and husband Zach, Daniel Sullivan and wife Deanna, Matthew Sullivan and wife Kaitlyn Sullivan; great grandchildren, Elijah Mullins, EvaLynn Johnston, Mike Staton, James Johnston, Callie Sullivan, Kaden Sullivan along with her favorite daughter, her pet, Princess Possum.
