Mrs. Leathia I. Huff, 87, of Natchez, MS died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00 P M until 9:00 P M. and Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 A M until the time of service at 11:00 A M at Cranfield Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cranfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Huff was born December 10, 1924 in Franklin County, MS. She was the daughter of Richard and Bertha Chandler Campbell. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: George W. Huff.; daughter: Leathia JaHazel Prewitt; grandchild: Gary Layne Gray; sister: Ivy Lee Maxwell; and brothers: Richard Campbell, Freddie Campbell, Sedric Campbell, and Lofton Campbell.
Survivors are her daughters: Georgia Huff Franklin of Bude, MS, Bonnie Farr and husband Danny of Meadville, MS, Ann Turner and husband Red of Bude, MS, and Arline Rose of Flowood, MS; sister: Virginia Leonard and husband James of Clinton, MS; brothers: Charlie Campbell of Natchez, MS, Buddy Campbell and wife Theresia of Dubach, LA, Willie Campbell of Bude, MS, and Archie Campbell and Margie of Meadville, MS; 18 grandchild; 44 great-grandchildren; and 5 great, great grandchildren.
