Funeral services for Mrs. Lauren Scott will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the Steele Cemetery in Amite County, MS. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Scott, 29, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.  She was born on December 14, 1989 in Brookhaven, MS, to Mr. Hugh Dier and Mrs. Mary White Dier.

Lauren loved life. Her children, family and friends were very precious to her. She was a very loving daughter, mother and wife.

Preceding her in death were her father, Hugh Dier and sister, JoJuanna Nelson.

Survivors are her husband of 11 years, Samuel Scott Jr.; mother, Mary Dier; daughters, Layla Emily Scott, Elizabeth Ann Scott; sons, Timothy Hugh Scott and Wyatt Scott; sister, Michelle Davis; brothers, Malvin Dier, Everette Dier, and Bruce Dier and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Josh Rushing, Johnathan White, J.J. Wallace, Matthew Wallace, Austin Wallace, and Thomas Chisholm.
