Funeral services for Mrs. La Ruth Bilbo Davis will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS.

Bro. Bobby Davis will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Davis, 85, passed from this life on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 23, 1934, in Purvis, MS, to James Oliver and Hazel Breland Bilbo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bude; worked for many years as a Registered Nurse; and enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; 3 sisters, La Joyce Bilbo Glascock, Patti Bilbo Hamp, and Barbara Bilbo Rossetto; and brother, Clifton Hagerty.

Survivors are her children, James Davis (Phyllis), Paul Davis (Vita), Nancy Davis Dunnihoo, and Nora Davis Nowell (Richard); brother, Harve Hagerty; grandchildren, Jereme Dunnihoo, Ryan Dunnihoo, Zach Harlan, Bailey Davis, Matthew Davis, Miranda Davis, and Ashley Akers; great-grandchildren, Laurali, Shariah, Hazel, and Tilly; close friends, JoAnn Brumfield and Peewee Arnold; and numerous family and friends.

Pallbearers are James Davis, Paul Davis, Richard Nowell, Zach Harlan, Matthew Davis, and Peewee Arnold. Honorary pallbearers are Jereme Dunnihoo, and Ryan Dunnihoo.
