Funeral services for Miss Kaytlyn Leigh Smith will be on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Sarepta Baptist Church Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Rev. James Hunsucker and Rev. Steve Sasser will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Miss Kaytlyn Leigh Smith, 22, of Meadville, MS passed from this life on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, MS. She was born on February 29, 2000 in Brookhaven, MS to her father, Chad Smith and mother, Shannon Zimmerman.

She enjoyed playing softball, hunting, and fishing. She was a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend.

Survivors are her mother, Shannon Zimmerman of Meadville, MS; father, Chad Smith of Meadville, MS and brother Kyle Smith of Meadville, MS; maternal grandparents, Steve and Anita Zimmerman; paternal grandparents, Herman and Betty Smith.

Pallbearers are Tony Rouse, Tommy Chism, Bill Arnold, Jacob Clanton, Joseph Zimmerman, Branson Arnold.

Honorary pallbearers are Casey Zimmerman, Brandon Cummings, Christopher Cummings, Jordan Cummings, and Kyle Smith.
