Mrs. Julia Mae Seale Mullins, age 91, was called into the presence of the Lord on July 30, 2016, at Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, Ms. Mrs. Mullins was born in Kirby, MS June 13, 1925 to Mr. Arthur David Seale and Mrs. MaeBelle Thurman Seale.
Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and continue Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The graveside service will follow in the Midway Cemetery in Meadville. Rev. Pat Sullivan and Rev. Tony Mullins will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Julia Mae was an owner, manager, and operator, (along with her deceased husband Tommy Mullins), of Mullins Department Store in Meadville for many years. She also worked at Bank of Franklin for many years and also was the book keeper for a period of time at the old furniture store in Bude, MS. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Julia Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur David Seale and Mrs. MaeBelle Thurman Seale; husband, Tommy Mullins Jr.; step son Tommy Mullins and Daughter-in-Law, Joyce Cobb Mullins; four sisters and five brothers.

Survivors are her daughter, Avis Louise Mullins of Meadville; son Jeff Mullins and wife Amy of Meadville; grandchildren, Taylor, Andrew, and Eleanor along with a special nephew, Bart Jones.
