Mrs. Joy Lee Humphrey, 88, was called into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at her residence in Bude, MS. Mrs. Humphrey was born in Bude, MS on September 29, 1926 to Mr. Rodney E. Temple and Mrs. Maude Mullins Temple.

Visitation will be at Hopewell Baptist Church in Bude, MS on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 9:00 AM till time of service at 10:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Mullins will officiate the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Humphrey was a faithful member and supporter of Hopewell Baptist Church for many years. She was a retired school secretary for Franklin County Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Humphrey, parents, grandparents and granddaughter, Kristy Wells.

Survivors are daughters, Kathy Knight and husband Jim of Franklinton, LA, Kay Halford and husband Mike of Columbus, MS, Carol Delaughter and husband Lynn of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, James Knight, Amanda Knight, Benjamin Knight, Andy Halford, Dale Delaughter; great grandchildren, Dylan Delaughter, Dyson Delaughter, Jackson Wells and Berkleigh Halford, along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are James Knight, Buddy Godbold, Vince Woodcock, Ron Sapp, Mike Halford, and Benjamin Knight.

Honorary Pallbearers are Andy Halford, Butch Griffin and Tony Reed.
