Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Anderson "Joe A" Combs III will be on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Roxie Baptist Church at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Roxie Cemetery. Rev. Jamie Wallace and Bro. Darby Combs will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Roxie Baptist Church on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.

Mr. Joe A Combs, 83, of Roxie, passed from this life on Friday, December 17, 2021, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 8, 1938 in Roxie, MS, to Mr. Joseph Anderson Combs, II and Mrs. Eugenia Aldridge Combs.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Bonnie Delaney Combs; and brother, Paul Wayne Combs.

Survivors are sons, Tony Combs and wife, Robin, of Roxie, Tommy Combs and wife, Amber, of Roxie; sister, Peggy Dove McCullough and husband, Pat, of Ruth;  brothers, Gerry Combs and wife, Louise, of Roxie, Lavon Combs and wife, Peggy, of Roxie; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Wayne Combs, Chris Combs, Gerrick Combs, Beau Beach, Windy Aldridge, and David Aldridge.

Honorary pallbearer is Vic Scott.
