Funeral services for Mr. Jonathan Travis Garner will be on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Roxie City Cemetery in Roxie, MS.  Rev. Tyson Windon will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume at Franklin Funeral Home on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Garner, 44, of Roxie MS, passed from this life on Monday, June 5, 2023, at his residence. He was born on December 22, 1978 in Natchez, MS to William Aubrey Garner and Charlotte Jan Shell.

He enjoyed working with growing plants and was studying to become a horticulturist.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Aubrey Garner and Jimmie Ruth Garner and maternal grandparents, Charles Ray Sullivan and Charlotte Gay Sullivan.

Survivors are his daughter, Brianna Garner; father, William Aubrey Garner, mother, Charlotte Jan Shell; son Conor Brewer; brother Chance Garner and girlfriend Judy Knapp.
