Funeral services for Mr. Joe McAllister will be on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Siloam Baptist Church in Meadville, MS at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Leon Wallace will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Siloam Baptist Church on Friday, December 13, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and resume on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mr. McAllister, 83, of Meadville, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on September, 17, 1936 to Mr. Willard McAllister and Mrs. Marie Hollingsworth McAllister.

He was a retired, self-employed logger and served his country in the United States Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willard and Marie McAllister and son David Joe McAllister.

Survivors are his wife of 63 years, Enola French McAllister; sister, Clarice Holland and husband Lesley of Liberty, MS; two grandchildren, Blaine McAllister, Kayla McAllister and one great grandson, Jace McAllister.

Pallbearers are Walton Speed, Leslie Holland, Guy Gist, James Wittington, Will Causey, Robert Jackson, David Blackwell, and Archie Campbell.
