A graveside service for Mr. Joe Ruben Davis will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021, at Davis Cemetery in Smithdale, MS at 2:00 PM. Elder Tom Griffin will be officiating the services, with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit, MS on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mr. Davis, 94, passed from this life on Thursday, February 4, 2021, the McComb Nursing Home and Rehab Center in McComb, MS. He was born on January 31, 1927 in Smithdale, MS to Charlie Davis and Lizzie Nunnery Davis.

He loved visiting with his neighbors and spending time with his family. He had a smile for everyone and when asked how he was doing his answer was always "Fine as Kind."  He was loved by all that knew him.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Bruce Davis; and brother, Ottis Davis.

Survivors are 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are Michael Sullivan, Mark Dillon, Tim Dillon, Phillip Dillon, Jim Jordan, and James Newman.
