Jimmie Dale Hutto, 65 passed from this life on January 5, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. He was born on August 25, 1949 at Bude, MS. He was the son of Ed B. Hutto and Janie C. Hutto. Mr. Hutto was employed by Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Co. He was a member at Wynndale Baptist Church in Terry, MS.

Mr. Hutto is preceded in death by his parents, Ed B. Hutto and Janie C. Hutto.

He is survived by his wife, Merilee Hutto; daughter, Ashley Dykman and husband Matt of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Sawyer and Sadie Jane Dykman; brother, Timmy Hutto (Helen) of Meadville, MS; nephew, Dusty Hutto (Bobbie) of Meadville, MS; great nephews, Jack and Tim Hutto; great nieces, Ana and Lilly Hutto.

Jimmie received a master's degree in communications from University of Southern Mississippi.

Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home on January 8, 2015 from 9:00 AM till 11:00 AM with graveside services to follow at O'Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Smith will officiate the services.

Pallbearers are Lynn Bullock, Gary Buckles, John Woods, Byron Carnette, Sherman Lee Dillon, Larry Cotten, Kenneth Boyd, and Dusty Hutto.
